Postcards mark a brief period of time, where we are allowed a little peek into the story of other people’s lives. The "Hello Sweety" exhibit begins with the one sided narrative of Rolland Woodington, a Chicago soldier in France during World War 1 and Lillian Castleman of Lombard as seen through his many postcards to her.

Travel through this exhibit, hearing other stories, about Paul’s trip to Boston, grocery requests, news of sick relatives, and making our Lombard hometown a destination for flower lovers. Discover the history of how postcards came to be, marvel at past scenes of town, and see how various postcards traveled the world.
