HOW WE MAKE THINGS HAPPEN…
We have a wonderful family of members, volunteers, and friends of the Lombard Historical Society who have been very generous with past projects, and we are hoping that we can call on you (and others!) to help with this amazing new building that will allow for LHS to solidify its position in downtown Lombard as an exciting community gathering space for educational and social events for all ages.
Like any successful nonprofit, we wouldn’t be able to achieve what we aim to accomplish without the support of a dedicated core of volunteers and donors. We consider ourselves very fortunate that individuals of all ages and backgrounds can see that the work we do is important, and have decided to join us in sharing the story of Lombard as we write our next chapters together. Without them, LHS would not be the dynamic organization it is today, and we thank you all for your continued support!
HOW YOU CAN HELP
And, now on to the next hard task! We need to ask for your help by making a donation so that this project can be completed. Right now we are a little bit ($65,000) short of making the Carriage House into a fully functioning center of activity for the Lombard Historical Society, and the community of Lombard.
Without your support in helping us cover these added expenses, we would be unable to add a new fully functioning kitchen for events, new technology for presentations, or install the specialized storage structures needed to protect the artifacts that tell our community’s story.
