Join us for our next virtual afternoon tea, on March 11th at 2pm. Join LHS staff, Rae Slowik, and volunteer, Anna Lustofin for an afternoon of pleasant conversation and tea as we look at the fascinating world of Victorian-Era fashion.
From corsets to tails, the fashion of the Victorian Era captivates us with clothing designs that are very exotic comparted to today’s clothing styles.
Anna Lustofin is a seamstress specializing in historical clothing and her business is Autumn and Ivy. Her experience will provide a unique looking into the clothing of the past.
Participants will be able to join virtually from the comforts of their own homes.
This program is free but registration is required. Participants will be emailed a zoom link along with tea and menu suggestions.
For $10, participants can receive a goodie box including a vintage teacup and saucer and individually wrapped sweets. For $4 participants can purchase the sweets only. Please register by March 9th if you would like a box of treats. They will be available for contactless pick-up only at 23 W. Maple Street, Lombard, IL 60148.
